Fact-checked · Up to date · Official sources

GreekProps covers Greek property news, data and rules in English, for people who buy from abroad: foreign buyers, investors, Golden Visa applicants, the Greek diaspora and expats.

Why this site exists

Most of what matters to a buyer in Greece is published in Greek: central bank indices, tax changes, planning rules, ministry decisions. Much of it never reaches the people it affects most. We read the Greek sources every day and explain what changed, when it applies and what it means for someone buying from abroad.

What we publish

Who is behind GreekProps

GreekProps is published by AtalosWeb, a digital marketing and web development company based in Glyfada, Athens, operating since 2017. Articles are written and checked by the GreekProps editorial team.

Disclosure: AtalosWeb is a sister company of Atalos Estate, a buyer’s agency in Athens that represents property buyers. Some pages show a clearly marked box about Atalos Estate. Our reporting does not depend on it: we do not change facts, figures or conclusions to favour Atalos Estate or any other company, and we do not accept payment for news coverage. Sponsored content, if any, is always labelled as such.

How we work

Every figure is checked against more than one source, and official sources are linked in the article. We use AI tools to help draft articles, and a person reviews each one before it is published. Read our editorial policy and our corrections policy.
